Who we are

Abraham’s Oasis is an Ethiopian Resident Charity (No. 0905) registered at the Charities and Societies Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, monitored by our General Assembly and the Board of Abraham’s Oasis, the corresponding governmental line departments.

Catharina van den Bosch as founder was appointed by the Abraham’s Oasis Board as Managing Director of Abraham’s Oasis. She is ably assisted by Head of Finance and the two Programme Officers

The programmes are divided between Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and Women in Need (WIN). Each programme has its own Programme Officer who manages the projects and monitors the budget lines developed. Regular meetings with the Programme Officers will permit Management to ensure that these projects are being carried out as per the lines set out by the agreed proposals and action plans.

Under the OVC Programme are Grace Village, Grace Dairy Farm, Grace School, Community OVC, Elementary School Support and any other child related project.
